Refund and Cancellation Policy

Version 1.0 -- last updated 2026/02

Thank you for choosing Gradement ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to providing high-quality stock market data, factors, and scoring models.

Please read this policy carefully. By subscribing to our services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. General Policy Overview

Because our products are digital goods delivered via the Internet (data feeds, proprietary scores, and analysis factors), they are deemed "used" upon access. Unlike physical goods, digital information cannot be returned. Therefore, we generally uphold a strict no-refund policy for all delivered content, subject to the exceptions outlined in Section 2.

2. Money-Back Guarantee (The "14-Day Rule")

We understand that you may need time to evaluate if our data suits your investment strategy.

  • Eligibility: First-time subscribers are eligible for a full refund if requested within 14 calendar days of the initial purchase date.
  • Exclusions: This guarantee applies only to your first subscription. Renewals, upgrades, and returning customers (who previously canceled and resubscribed) are not eligible.
  • Process: To request this refund, you must email support@gradement.com with your user ID before the 14-day window expires.

3. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.

  • How to Cancel: You can cancel directly through your [User/Options/Request Cancellation] option or by contacting support.
  • Effect of Cancellation:
    • Billing: Cancellation stops the next auto-renewal charge.
    • Access: You will retain full access to your subscription features until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
    • No Prorated Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. For example, if you cancel a monthly subscription on day 5, you will not receive a refund for the remaining 25 days, but you will continue to have access for those 25 days.

4. Annual Subscriptions

For annual plans that offer a discounted rate in exchange for a yearly commitment:

  • Refund Window: The 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee (Section 2) applies to annual plans.
  • After 14 Days: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the initial 14-day window passes. If you cancel after this window, you will retain access for the remainder of the year, but no portion of the annual fee will be returned.

5. Technical Issues

If you are unable to access the services due to a technical error on our end (e.g., server downtime exceeding 5% or data feed corruption), please contact us immediately. We may, at our sole discretion, offer a billing credit or a prorated refund for the period the service was unavailable.

6. Exceptions for EU/UK Consumers

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or the United Kingdom:

  • You generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days.

  • Important Waiver: By purchasing a digital subscription and accessing our data immediately, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content is provided.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage you to contact our support team to resolve any billing issues before initiating a dispute with your bank. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or permanently terminate the account of any user who initiates a chargeback or payment dispute that we deem fraudulent or unjustified.
